Dundee Food Forests

We’re creating a city-wide network of mini food forests across Dundee — transforming neighbourhoods into edible, biodiverse spaces full of fruit, wildlife, learning and community connection.

Let's create a food forest on every street of Dundee!

A food forest is a layered, self-sustaining growing space inspired by natural woodland ecosystems — designed to produce food, support pollinators. And the good news is.... it becomes easier and easier to care for over time.

Over the next two years we’ll work with 25 community groups, gardens and schools to plant thousands of trees and perennial plants in areas with the lowest tree cover.
